My name is Silvia Nevarez and I have been a teacher for over thirteen years. My husband Joe is a musician coming from a large family of musicians. When our six year old son Miles became interested in music, we tried several teachers. After the first half hour lesson with Jason, he inspired our son so much that on the way home, Miles asked us for longer lessons and to learn to play more instruments. Jason was thrilled, as were we. After five months of one hour lessons a week, our six year old is reading and playing music on three instruments. In all my years of teaching, I’ve rarely come across someone with so much talent and teaching ability. My husband is continuously amazed at Jason’s musical knowledge and astonished with Mile’s progress. Miles looks forward every week to his lessons. We recommend him highly, to any age interested in learning music.

I decided that I wanted to learn how to play the guitar when I saw my brother getting good at it. He was getting lessons from Jason and I thought that it would be great for me to get lessons too. Lessons are so much fun. Jason is always cracking funny jokes and makes everything fun. I’ve been to a few of Jason’s concerts and I can tell you that he’s really a great musician. When he explains ideas to me I can tell that he knows what he’s talking about. Learning the guitar has been great and easy so far, and I can’t wait for more lessons. Learning from Jason and hearing him play is what drives me to become a better guitar player and an even better musician.
